This Privacy Policy explains how SafeBite Solutions ("SafeBite", "we", "us"), based in Luxembourg, collects, uses and protects personal data when you use the SafeBite HACCP application (the "App"). We act as the data controller and process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. How we use your data
- To provide and operate the App and store your HACCP records.

- To improve and maintain the App.
3. Legal bases (GDPR)
We process personal data to perform our contract with you (providing the App), to comply with legal obligations, on the basis of our legitimate interests (security, improvement, support), and, where required, with your consent.
4. Service providers (processors)
We share data only with providers that help us run the App, under appropriate safeguards:
- Google Firebase — authentication and database (Cloud Firestore) hosting of your account and records.
- RevenueCat — subscription management and entitlement verification.
- Apple App Store — payment processing and billing for subscriptions.
Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and records for as long as your account is active. After account closure we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, unless we must keep certain information to meet legal obligations.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority (in Luxembourg, the CNPD). 7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Children
The App is intended for use by food businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. We do not sell your data
We do not sell personal data and do not use your HACCP records for advertising.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the App or by email, and the "Last updated" date above will change.
